We'll be discussing The Reformatory by Tananarive Due, described by the publisher as "A gripping, page-turning novel set in Jim Crow Florida that follows Robert Stephens Jr. as he’s sent to a segregated reform school that is a chamber of terrors where he sees the horrors of racism and injustice, for the living, and the dead."
(While there will be spoilers, it's ok to attend even if you didn't finish the book!)
Copies of the book can be obtained by asking at the reference desk in the library
The book was reviewed on NPR and by the New York Times.
July's Adult Book Club book will be Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie.
