Purpose of Meeting
Plainfield recently had another black bear sighting, this one ending in an all-day uncertainty of what to do and how residents should respond. The state FGW provided extremely limited help in this situation. This resulted in residents asking 'what do we do next time' and 'why did he have to be killed'? The presenters are the Bear Education and Resource group, who have made many presentations around the state and have the knowledge and ability to give accurate and useful information. While we may or may not need the 2 full hours for this meeting, I'm allowing for a question and answer session.
