Genealogy Club

First Saturday of the month 10:30AM to 12PM. Co-hosted with the Historical Society of Plainfield / Drake House Museum.

Join us for our monthly genealogy program, live via Zoom. 

Guest speakers include noted genealogists who discuss a variety of family history topics, research methods, tools, and resources, as well as offer advice for genealogists of all experience levels.

With over 20 years of experience helping prospective members with application papers for the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), Plainfield Public Library Director Mary Ellen Rogan will give a overview of how to start the research and navigate the process of joining the society.  With tips from many years of DAR research for both herself and others, she will clarify the steps and procedures for both the research and application processes in your search for your DAR patriot ancestors.
