Teen Craft at DuCret: Shrink Plastic Jewelry

DuCret Center for Art is kindly hosting us for a teen craft while the library is closed. Join us at the Center at 1030 Central Avenue and bring your creativity.

Ever wanted to make colorful and sturdy jewelry with your own images and color designs?  Shrink Plastic is an easy way to design and create two-dimensional jewelry, including pendants, earrings, and keychains. You draw and color your designs on plastic sheets, cut them out, and heat-shrink them. 

We'll provide patterns, markers and colored pencils, Shrink Plastic, and jewelry findings for pendants, earrings and keychains. You supply the creativity! We'll help you heat shrink the pieces and add the jewelry findings to make items to take home for yourself or as gifts.
