Join us every Wednesday for Storytime! Enjoy songs, rhymes, and stories, followed by playtime. Children three and under and their caregivers are welcome! 

Paint a spring-like background on your glass jar, add moss and a rabbit figurine for a tiny faux terrarium!

Ages 11-18

Celebrate Read Across America with NJ4S and the Plainfield Public Library. This special program is open to kids from Kindergarten to 3rd grade. Learn to build empathy through reading and activities!

Teens and Tweens, come hang out and play video games! We have two consoles and two big screens, and a lot of party-style games, including SmashBros, MarioKart, Mario Party, Switch Sports, Everybody 1-2-Switch, MarioMaker, and others.

Join us in our Children's Room for a special storytime from former Councilman Barry Goode. 

Teen Time is a program just for teens (ages 12-18) to come in, hang out, have a snack and maybe do a game or craft.

The Plainfield Public Library and the Plainfield-Scotch Plains chapter of the NCNW co-sponsor this Girls Who Code club.

Join us at the Plainfield Public Library for Anime Club Movie. This month we will be watching, 'The Girl Who Leapt Through Time'.

We have a variety of board games and we'll be bringing in food (including pizza) for this evening of fun with the Library's Teen and Adult Programs and the Literacy Department.
