Discover the Art of Needle Felting by creating a wool heart to take home.
Needle felting is a process of forming unspun wool into three dimensional objects, felting it together by stabbing it repeatedly with a special needle or bundle of needles.
The class will be taught by fiber artist Sarah Fiedler, who has previously taught spinning and wet-felting classes at the library. She will be bringing the felting equipment for the class, and the wool will also be supplied.
Because the needles used in this class are quite sharp, participation in the felting process is limited to those age 14 and up.
