This summer, while the library is remodeling, we'll be having Adult Book Club at the Plainfield Performing Arts Center in their Garden Room.
Looking for people to discuss books with? You've found them.
Check with the reference desk (or any library in the STELLA system!) for the July Read, Lies My Teacher Told Me: Everything Your American History Textbook Got Wrong, by James Loewen. You can even read this interview with the author from NPR. Then join us on July 30 to discuss it. (While there will be spoilers, it's ok to attend even if you didn't finish the book!)
The August book will the The Bee Sting, by Paul Murray.
